Often, conditioning goes deep. So deep it affects the cellular energy, the cellular memory. Generally this is why when changing a behavior or process the intended outcome becomes hijacked causing disappointment. We may set our mind to move toward a desire but the cellular memory tends to steer us "back on track" of a conditioned behavior. What it takes is getting in touch with oneself in a way never taught or conditioned to believe or behave. It takes a true commitment to reach the new desire.
Most will give up after a few days or weeks because nothing seems to be changing. Because it isn't. The cellular memory is guiding us back to the path we were conditioned to travel causing us to miss our desire. The method to reprogramming the deep memory is to do nothing - literally. It involves stepping out of the conditioned flow to a place of quiet as often as possible. During these quiet times, sit silently with no distractions. Silence the phone, close the door to outside distractions and clear your mind. If you are one who claims you can't clear your mind then there is only one response.
You really don't want that desire.
"Oh, yes I do", you may claim. Really, no you don't. Your mind says yes but your entire body is rebelling against this desired change due to the prior conditioning it received. This is why it's imperative to learn to quiet the mind. The process is truly a chore but practice makes perfect. Once the mind chatter is under control it becomes quite easy to begin addressing the body's cellular memory.
The first step might be assuring the cells they will never be in harm's way. Explain the desire and how changing the conditioning will be of benefit to the entire self. Ask the cellular structure to work with your desire to bring the outcome that best serves the all. Imagine the outcome already manifest and feel the sensation of accomplishment of reaching a desire that seemed so daunting at the onset. Bathe in that feeling using the sense of ability to overcome the conditioning that brings you closer to experiencing the true, authentic self not the false self programmed early on by those who had agendas of their own. Realize the overall feeling of calm upon reaching your new desire and how you wish it could last forever.
Realize the desire is but a step in climbing out of a conditioned box that had been holding you in bondage since the beginning. And in that realization become aware the desire just reached may also someday be replaced by yet another higher desire as you begin to see over the table. It's advised that no attachment to the desire be formed, that the desire is another tool in your personal toolbox to be used as you walk the endless path of self-discovery. Remember how the conditioning of the past affected you so far. Attempt no self-conditioning from this point forward but strive for desires that create new tools to assist in expanding into a better Human.
Then observe what happens. As you expand into a more true and authentic self you will begin to notice many around you will also begin to expand prompted by your focused desire on being better than you used to be. This is how to change the World for the better - by changing the Self for the better. The feeling will become contagious. Then pass it on...
